At Wealthsimple, I was part of the Order Generation Team. I contributed to optimizing the trading algorithm and adding new S3 data source infrastructure, significantly reducing latency by about 60%, enabling faster trade order execution. As the primary technical owner of the order generation simulation platform, I built tools enabling traders to customize algorithm behavior in minutes, enhancing market decision-making.

I also engineered a full-stack web app with a React and TypeScript frontend, Ruby on Rails backend, and Python GraphQL API, integrating Datadog for monitoring. My team managed systems processing billions annually, delivering scalable, test-driven solutions for complex trading workflows.

Beyond engineering, I co-led HackSimple Summer 2024, organizing a company-wide hackathon as co-DRI.
